Hi,
Just wondering what everyone does to keep from getting set on fire and stay dry, I just got some flame proof overalls and was wondering if I could spray them with waterproofing spray or would this effect the fireproofing? If I put waterproofs under the overalls it would restrict movement a fair bit so don't really want to do that and obviously water over fireproof will just be pointless.
Not the most pressing issue in the world but thanks for any tips

Well my nomex trousers and shirt both say do not use rinse aid/fabric conditioner, SO I'd consider it bad to have a waterproofing wax or silicone treatment on flame proofs.

You can get flameproof waterproofs companies like arco sell them.
Personally I get kitted up as late as possiable and get out of my overalls as quick as possiable and don my waterproofs. If your doing a tour taking a second pair of overalls is a good idea as well.
I wouldnt spray them in anything.
