Petrol lifters

When firing petrol lighters we normally use a wells smoke puff to get things going.
What alternatives would work?
A customer has just sprung a request on us and we don't have any spares.

Probably not particularly helpful, but this thread comes to mind.

Other than that all I know of is using BP or det cord :ph34r:

In addition to a det and det cord I usually wire in series an electric igniter embedded in a sachet of either loose flash, black powder or nitro powder which is then taped at the centre of the det cord coil..

I have also used flash maroons and electric thunderflashes to achieve that extra heat in the initial milliseconds of the event.
