So guy's/Gal's how many of you actually have firerworks of some description to celebrate the bringing in of the new year? I do every year with about the same value in fireworks as bonfire night ( £250-£400)? And whats your preferred method of display design, for example on bonfire night I make it all last around half an hour but on New years its all over in 3-5 mins

id  to have that sort of budget for either night, just a few rockets and mines for me this year maybe lidl cakes if they dont sell out again before i get some, but i like it short and noisy on nye so normally have a mad few minutes aswell, im trying to find a way of igniting a lot of dragon eggs [ 16# ] at the same time without spreading them evrywhere or maybe a progressive build up with a few larger ones at the end, im in the mood for a bit of the ole "eratic flight" and "emits bangs" :D

Sadly, no pyro for me. I am a DJ, so will be slaving over a hot CD player as I do every NYE. Oh well, better to be earning than burning.
Organisation is a wonderful trait in others

Will be road testing my new pyroquip racks so probably 100 or so shells punched with FBW and a crate of 25 50mm bright flower salutes from KBF to round it off, should be all over in 30s :)

I don't normally bother with NYE to be honest, but this year I'll be in Florida so a trip to Disney to see there display is what I'll be doing.

Nice, wish i had room to be firing some big stuff this year. Now ime insured and run my own small display company I cant really turn round and say to the law " oohhhhh i didnt think about safety distances officer" and act abit dumb/nieve for letting of big cakes in my garden. Its funny how we are wide open to be ridiculed for being too close to the fireworks when we have been trained ect.. but joe bloggs up the road wouldnt even get his hands slapped.

None of the above has happend like however i can see how it would turn out, and lets face it who really does have 25+ meters of garden at home?

Thats the crazy thing when it comes to Cat 3, should in an ideal world have 25m to the left and right too aswell as a 50m fallout zone!
