Freakpyromaniacs have commented that unfortunately alot of the budgets for the ninots and mascletas have been cut because of the economic situation. Understandable really.

Staying at the holiday inn too (paseo de la alameda, in case there are several!). Might see you there, we fly out on Thursday.

Yep, thats the one we (am going with the missus) are staying at. I fly tomorrow (Tuesday) and come back Saturday.
Hope to see you (although I have no idea what you look like). I will be the bald bloke with a Durham accent wandering around with a big grin, with the wife with a look of "what a big bloody kid my husband is" on her face.
