Pyroguide seems to be a good source of comps for a newbie such as me but it seems to have been down quite a while. Does anyone know if it will be coming back up or if the webmaster is contactable?
I've actually taken the liberty of grabbing all the data from archived sources just in case as some of the stuff was really useful.

Books by Shimizu, Lancaster, and Fulcanelli would grace your shelf and provide lots of useful info.

IIRC "Admiraldonschneider" was familiar with the domain user. However though the site had many items of information very little was original or developed by them. Lots was collated from other sources without regard for ownership or credits. While the site was a convenient source of info it is all to be found elsewhere.

Thanks Arthur, it was a handy source on the web with a good basic set of comps. Those books are pretty expensive so which would you recommend most of all? Shimizu?

Remember that the knowledge you gain from these books will assist you in preserving your body parts -missing fingers cost more than a couple of books.

And you can always try The Green Man
Hi Phil
I've been on your website. Are you selling books? I can't see if you are and possibly I'm being a bit dense :-)

Hi Mate - No I don't sell books, though there is a review of some. The GreenMan does intend to write a book some time, but it's only at the 'thinking about' stage at the moment...
Otherwise, the site is free information out of the goodness of my heart!
