Actually Richard I sense that you are as against this as I am for it, it's your forum so you win, but any reason why?
I'm certain it loses the site traffic, people get directed elsewhere and don't come back.

For what it's worth I prefer the new look. I am relatively new to the site so didn't spend years getting the old one engrained and I find it far clearer to navigate round. I'm fairly sure it is easy to find old posts too.
