I was wondering the same, you cant add anything by the my media button, it looks like you have to use/upload to an external host and then share a link.
Paul.
UKPS team can we have an answer please - what is the purpose of the "my media" button on the toolbar that appears above the "reply to this topic" box?
How do I post/publish a .pdf file to the forum?

When i asked this on the old forum i was told that members cannot post directly (only admin)
Have to use photobucket or similar and post a link.
Do not know if new forum is different.
I would guess that it is a hosting option that has been disabled.

You do so from the full post reply screen, as illustrated. There is an option to 'Attach Files'. I believe the My Media button allows you to view files you have previously uploaded.

Am I missing something? How can I make a .pdf file available for forum members to read? There is a "media" button on the reply box but that doesnt seem to do much. Am I missing something?
Hi Danny, see my post above. I think the confusion arises in that you cannot upload via the quick reply option, you have to click the 'More Reply Options' button.

It's not appearing at this end, I'm in full edit mode and it's definitely not there.,. I'd guess uploads are only enabled for admin.
