I've recently been watching a program called pyros, it is on the discovery channel but I have been watching it on youtube, here is the link to the one I am about to watch -
Haven't seen this episode yet but I am finding the series quite entertaining so thought I would share it for those who haven't heard about it :)

I was filmed with them at Catton Hall a couple of weeks ago, so I should appear in season 2 alongside Eric and Phillippe (they were working with Parente) :)

It's not a bad series and it actually goes to show that there are more of us pyro nerds out there than you think. I only wish it showed more of the show design aspects, My real fascination is in the syncronising of fireworks / pyro to a soundtrack.

It's interesting the first time you design a show but it doesn't half get tedious. Just finishing the 3rd show design in a week and I hate every song now, you listen to the music over and over and over and over...........

You think that's bad. Lol after programming up the fireworks to our multimedia diplay since July then I have to start from The start to program all the flame projectors then all over again for the dmx lighting. Driving me nuts listening to the same music every day I'll be glad when it's All over :)

Not pyro, but we put on scare attractions - same music/soundtracks and audio FX - 5 hours a night for 14 nights this year .... Think I might just go insane. Oh and at least with pyro there is a finale!
