Although I am not a member ( for reasons known to UKPS staff) I would prefer to organise something primarily for UKPS members.

Exat, I would like that, a tour round a real pyro factory would be good.

re Malta, I was thinking of simply a visit to the island by air for a fiesta, leaving the UK saturday AM and returning sunday after a little breakfast.

What about a trip to PGI conference with some pre arranged legal manufacture, maybe a group could join WPA and go to their Do-It weekend and do some manufacture where it is lawful.

Would anyone be interested in factory visits to any of the remaining defence contractors who make pyro?

Very much so :)

I note 3 or 4 expressions of interest. I would like to see around 10 (or more). I have a couple of venues in mind. Bump up the numbers with those that are seriously interested and I will make some enquiries.

Danny - many thanks for offering to perhaps sort something.
The reason that I and possibly others have not responded is that it's a bit chicken and egg.
It depends on when it is and where it is.
I work shifts so am often off in the week, so it's possible I may be able to attend work wise.
Then there is location, I'd be prepared to travel around say 200ish miles each way, beyond that the cost apart from the time becomes an issue.
I don't mean to sound ungrateful - I just can't give a firm yay or nay until I know a bit more, but yes, in principle I'm very interested.

I'm certainly interested. Depends when though, as it's about to get mental!...... As I'm sure it is for most of us!

Danny - Great idea, I would be up for that as long as it doesn't clash with work commitments.

Would need to know when, to be able to confirm, but provisionally - yes.

Ta,

Phil.
