One of my best tubing sources is one of the 2 upholsterers near me, most of the tubes I get from them are free with varying diameters and wll thicknesses for 3-5mm.

Edit: and parallel wound

the easy way to harden tubes is soak them in sodium silicate soln then oven dry them they are also more fire proof i am just trying grp resin on homemade tubes so i can hammer them will let u know what happens

Hello guyes!

I'm going to need som tubes for my 4lb BP rocket tool fairly soon (summer/fall). I'm not going to make my own tubes so I'll buy them. I have a some potential companies/persons that can provide tubes but as allways there is a minimum order quantity, and I will never use 1000 tubes on my own. Is there any one here that is interested in 4lb tubes (ID:1,25"; length:12";wall:0,25")?
I'm not really interested in buying other kind of tubes, maby 6lb but not now.

Any one for splitting a shipment of 4lb tubes?
You don't have to pay me on beforehand, I'm just looking to see if there are potential customers. Send me a PM and I'll send you back when I have tubes ;)

The supplier can supply definately but the issue as ever is cost lol.

If I get a few made (as in 1000 run) then the cost is noticable whereas 10,000 only costs double the 1000 batch so price is much better. If theres enough people willing to take 100 or 200 or more then no problem I can get them on order?

Im listening guys but still Im sorry to say that to make it possible I may have to have about 3,000 tubes witha home already to go to before I can place an order and even then Ill have 2,000 left and price would be almost double what it would be if I ordered 10,000!

I will definately order them should the homes be found for the poor things but I need orders of 3 or 5 hundred to make it possible.

Is it possible you could split different sizes into a variety pack? Might be able to get more people to buy them then.

Also what about eBay? Theres no one selling pyro tubes on ebay now, so maybe you could flog a few on there as well...
Pete
