Two film makers (the Veverka brothers) are planning a feature-length documentary about "the world's most amazing fireworks, the passionate people who make them and the cultures behind them."
They are seeking funding to make the full film through the Kickstarter website, where there is an interesting preview video about the project:

It's an amazing feat to accomplish and one hell of a worthy cause- people these days need light and colour in their lives and so much knowledge gets forgotten...........
