Hi,

Ive only just joined the forum, so just a quick introduction. Im based in London and work in the film industry doing special effects, and used pyro a lot on set. Like HE, det cord, bullet hits, BP, fuel bags etc...

Ive been interested in fireworks and pyrotechnics ever since i was a kid. Back in the days of raiding your parents garage trying to find ingredients to help create some concoction. Now, im really interested in the chemistry and physics of making fireworks properly. I want to gain experience firing, and meet up with like minded people and find out what other peoples experiences are. I really enjoy pushing the boundaries by testing things that you wouldnt normally think of. Im a new member on the uk fireworks forum as well.

looking forward to investigating the forum

Dan

Welcome aboard Dan!

You're in the right place for advice, there are a lot of very experienced guys here so any experimentation you do is safe and legal.

Welcome to the forums. I have recently joined myself for exactly the same reasons. There's plenty to be reading and looking into and it is very interesting
