Has anyone here had any success at making this please, also where to get the required ingredients.
Otherwise any similar water based compounds I could use with similar properties ?
As in striker formulations ?

if its a pull striker you are trying to make you will almost certainly
need red phosphorus, not the easiiest thing to get
the other materials would be chlorate and charcoal
some matches use phosphorous sequisulphide
but the safety variety use a red phosphorus impregnated striking strip
its not clear what you are trying to make

I want a heat sensitive primer not a friction one particularly.
For e matches.
I am printing this , not dipping and the reservoir is 2 -3 g so antinomy trisulphide type comp would be dangerous.
Also fast evaporating solvent is undesirable.

sounds an interesting idea but i would imagine
particle size would have to be pretty small to allow printing
i think the rp striker strip on match boxes is screen or roller printed.
as you probably realise ematch compositions by necessity have to be reasonably
sensitive, there is only so much heat delivered by the thin nichrome wire.
butanone evaporates slower than acetone, if that helps.
if you can pm me i would be interested in more details
i know there are patents out there doing something similar re "printing explosives"
