Just thought I'd let you know that I've been invited to be interviewed by Tony Blackburn on his BBC Radio Berkshire programme on Friday 1st November, about fireworks.

Do tune in if you fancy a laugh.

I'll post a link to the I player thing, so you can listen to it later on-line if you so desire.

Just listened to that Steve, very good really enjoyed it. I see Tony blackburn dosent buy fireworks very often (bangers and blue touchpaper) hehe

I was just about to post the link myself.

Wanted to get more in about the UKPS and our attempts to save fireworks heritage and educate people (school kids) about fireworks, but Tony steered the interview, I did what I could.

It was an interesting half hour I spent in the studio, not my first time on radio, but the first time in a proper studio with the DJ/interviewer, rather than being stuck in a remote sound proof box with headphones and a mike!
