The Art, Sciense and Practise bu Shimizu have a lot of interesting reading and formulas that cover most of the amateurs needs. But the number of formulas are not as plenty as in "FPP 3rd Edition".
I first bought "FPP 3re Edition" and a few years after "Best of AFN II" and "The ASP" of Shimizu.

Still have to purchase both of those though...
Best of AFN series is also good. I have III and am very pleased with it. Cant wait to get II and IV. The gabe mort story is rather amusing .
I would recomend Introductory Practical Pyrotechnics though as an introductory book. It is going to serve me well and get started the way I should have.

Not sure how much it is, but Kimbolton is the only UK source for Rev. R Lancasters book. I only found this out after bringing my book in from the States.
