Hi All,

 

It certainly looks like licencing its getting closer!

 

I've been asked by the HO if anyone would be able to help them trial a proposed IT system to control the precursor/poison licencing:

 

"We have developed a prototype front end IT system for the proposed precursors and poisons licensing system. The IT team have asked if I could provide details of any likely applicants to test the system usability prior to roll out. With this in mind would you know of any individuals within your associations who are likely to apply for licenses to use substances on the list – in your cases hydrogen peroxide and chlorates, perchlorates – who are local to Westminster and wouldn’t mind supporting this important phase for approximately an hour, at a time to be arranged in the next few weeks?"

 

Any volunteers?

Why is Hydrogen Peroxide on the list as being used for amateur pyrotechnic experiments.

I can think of uses for it but I don't think we are going to be allowed to experiment in that way.

I'd be happy to help. I work in the software industry so would have a solid background in testing. In that regard I think I can provide legitimacy to this.
