Who would be interested in entering/ helping to run a firework competition organized by the UKPS ?

I'm not thinking of anything as grand as the MLE events, and certainly not 'musical' more sort of set piece, pattern shell, spinning pigeon, fire ball 'special effects' type of stuff.

Probably a south'ish' venue, paying public, maybe some live bands/DJ's, UKPS tent, children's activity's and maybe some inert workshops.

I've suggested such things in the past, with little take up to be honest. We did have a mini meet up, which was nice, in 2007 on Bonfire Night and a few very sucessful ones after that. I think most are more informal, and between friends nowadays.

There are likewise some really good meet ups organised through facebook.

Anything with paying public raises questions of insurance etc, which is very much another "ballgame."

OK, interest in fireworks to be resumed in the spring. It usually is. ;)
