Here`s another thought, how can you get an acquire for flash if it isn`t listed on the form?

UN 305 is not on our local form though.
I think the flash we are dealing with is UN 0094 as this is 1.1G and not 1.3G as UN 0305 is.

UN0037 - UN0039 refers to ordanance droped from planes, I don't think they will let you have that on the cert!

On the old Application form (coer1) at the bottom of the list it says `Explosives not listed above` so you can add other UN numbers.
On the new ER4 Application form this has been omitted.
Wouldn`t this be an indication that they are now only concerned with what they have listed?

I am guessing this box will be coming back.

Even more important to have this box now, as it is an opt out schedule and not an opt in schedule.

It does look that way, however we know that they are interested in flash and it is not listed. I am guessing these forms will change as schedule 2 is legislation and the form is the enforcement of the legislation.
That said Schedule 2 does not have foreworks on it, go figure. Wayne did you get any further with clarification on this point?

Maybe it will stay as it is and Flash wont be specifically mentioned and will come under acquire only <-100g any pyrotechnic substance?
I have a feeling that this is their intention.

My acquire states "any pyrotechnic substance subject to these regulations that is within the meaning of explosive contained within regulation 2"
I'm hoping that covers any pyro comp I may want to experiment with.
Cheers

Can't be. The specific intention of the change in legislation was intended to bring substances such as this under the control of the Police.
I am sure Wayne will pipe in on this one, as he was involved in the process.
As an aside I have a 2 tonne HT1 trading standards store (or more precisely 2000kg HT3 or in lieu 1200kg HT1) and at my renewal this year my trading standards officer said that flash now comes under the control of the police so I am now only allowed UN 0333 for HT1 items now.

Thanks Martyn
So this then covers flash and any compositions. So yes rocket candy does require a cert, interesting.
What did you specifically ask for to get this on your explosives certificate.
