Well since the last AGM's announcement that home pyro was lawful you could have made something and shown it.

Yep it is quiet on here. I have been going through the arduous process of applying for my explosive certificate which is turning out to be a saga in and of itself.

Well Danny it not just the UKPS that’s quite it’s the whole scene! I wish you good luck with you explosives licence but I may add that AFAK the supply of chemicals will dwindle rapidly as I for one I will not be importing any controlled chemicals for resale, one major supplier I know has also taken this stance.
My take on this, great get legal, but my gut feeling is you won’t get the chemicals to experiment for long, as you may or not know I run my own forum and have links in to OB and others so I think I am reasonably qualified to say: that importation of chemicals that are controlled are no longer a viable option for resale within the UK market.
My advice is get your licence to purchase ASAP before 2016 and take it from there, basically its game over when the current stocks in the UK are deleted of controlled chemicals ……………over to you MR Cooper and OB
Wow Kenneth. I appreciate the input and didn't know that this was the case. Is this decision based on the new legislation with regards to the sales of explosive precursors?

Kenneth, what is your forum, apart from ukps I can only think of ukfr and pyrotubes in the UK. Are there others?
Are you pyrotubes?

If you had a supplier that you used on ebay, and they can no longer sell the items you once bought from them, chances are they still have them, and they would more than likely sell it to you via messaging to get rid.
If that makes sense.

My personal opinion is that sellers targeting the home user may well sell their controlled precursors to other business users simply to get rid of them. The Chinese factories will still produce the chems, they will still come into this country but will anyone make the effort to open a real world shop with all the paper work needed to sell them to hobby users? IMO Oliver Brown's "no callers" stance is highly reasonable and likely to be taken up by several people. Cooperman, could you afford to open a (property) shop with opening hours simply to satisfy the hobby needs of home pyro builders?
Sadly I can see that this will work as well as the (alcohol) prohibition of early 20th Cent USA. I think it's possible that some people will do the (little) research and make their own chlorate (all ingredients from ASDA/B&Q) THEN we may hear some unintentional bangs as we return to chlorate incompatibilities.
