2:00 pm       Rev. Ron Lancaster of Kimbolton Fireworks will talk on his career in Pyrotechnics

3:00 pm       Roger Renshaw talk on competency testing for A&K

3:30 pm       Tea and scone time

4:00 pm       Philip Cooper talk on something (suggestions welcome!)

4:30 pm       Steve Miller talk on PPE testing

5:00 pm       Sit down group discussions - topics supplied on the day

6.30 pm        Rig fireworks for firing at 9.15ish (light depending)

9.30 pm        Tidy Up - all help gladly received

 

 

Pub/Restaurant for group meal,- this may well be at the golf club

 

 

Edit: Unfortunately Danny has had to withdraw from speaking and will not be able to attend. We're looking into an alternative speaker, but there is still plenty to keep you entertained!

Thanks to the UKPS for inviting me to speak - it will be a pleasure.

I want my talk to be driven by the members attending so I am thinking of doing a bit of a roundup of the ER2014 and the precursor Regulations and a discussion on "competence"  followed by a Q and A "open forum" and will happily field any issues from members regarding certification etc.

Get your thinking caps on please. Those who cant attend can email me questions or points for discussion in advance to danny@skewenergetics.co.uk and I will raise your points for you ( anonymously if required).

 

Looking forward to seeing as many as possible face to face.

Who is doing the display ? Is it a contribution from all (like the experimentation day) or something a bit more organised ?

AGM display will be some cat4 paid by the society, and some contributions by AGM attendees. So firework donations are welcome and invited.
