Just acquired a large number of (old) Brocks PU24 & 25 detonators. ( Lawfully acquired on A&K cert)

Plastic bodied with twin yellow 1m leads.

Anyone with any knowledge of these old items?

They are similar to current DeLaMere products.

Any info gratefully received.

were these made by ici and supplied to brocks by any chance ?

I know ici in the old days used to do a 1/2 strength and full strength nylon spfx detonator for the film industry

 

about 6mm diameter and maybe 23mm in length

the name "metron" seems to come to mind

Apologies for not updating. Very busy at work. I will post some more details about these items when we have test fired some and taken some pictures.

Sorry for lack of update. We will test fire and photo as soon as possible.
In response to the above. We carry out disposals of explosives routinely as part of our business activities and acquired them as part of a consignment of other items.
