On Saturday night 24th October and early hours of Sunday morning, Kimbolton Fireworks were victims of a well organised burglary. The thieves stole a very large quantity of Kimbolton mail order display packs which were about to be despatched to customers. A quantity of retail fireworks from our sister company Kimbolton Fireworks (retail) were also stolen. The thieves broke into the rear of the site and forced their way into the office, stealing keys for 2 lorries and a van which were then used in the robbery. Entry was forced into the main warehouse where an organised operation proceeded to remove the most accessible & larger items. Police have captured a sighting of the vehicles in convoy heading west from Ellington along the A14 at 1.52am on Sunday morning.

Unfortunately the robbery could not have come at a worst time as we were just preparing for our main despatch to customers. The Kimbolton team are devastated by what has happened and are now working extremely hard to minimise the impact on our customers in a best effort to ensure that they are able to celebrate Guy Fawkes night.

A list of some of the stolen goods below:

Club Mixed Pack

Jubilee Mixed Pack

Tomahawk Rocket Pack

Sidewinder 12 Rocket Pack

Trident 24 Rocket Pack

Polaris 24 Rocket Pack

Exocet 24 Rocket Pack

Extra Large Roman Candle Battery Pack

Stratus set Piece Pack

Candles and Mine Pack

Quick update on this some of the rockets that were stolen are Zink rockets German made and easily identified by their metal cased motors as well as the Kimbolton logo. None of the fireworks that were stolen are the sort of quality you'd expect to be being sold by white van man, so if you see anyone other than bonofide retailers selling them please alert the police.

Also 3 hire vehicles were taken, no details as yet of who's but please keep an eye out for any suspicious looking dumped lorries/vans, especially around the Birmingham area.
