The proposed powder mills site without the children's playground will not have space to do anything or parking for any visitors. If the holiday centre goes ahead then they have to take all the site, with liabilities. There could be a museum in the town for a few artifacts.

That's part of the problem they don't want the 'contaminated' areas.

Quick update.

 

The revised petition was jointly handed to the council planning committee by the Green party councilor and the UKIP councilor at Mondays planning meeting. There is a lot of local position to PGL's proposal, however ATM it is the only proposal, I have been looking into other options but given the magnitude of the project we are somewhat limited to dealing with larger companies and organizations, as you can imagine this takes time as these companies don't tend to make quick decisions. I will of course keep you all updated with progress but yes in the mean time yes keep them signatures coming.
