I could be looking for some dozen or so delays of 0.25 to 1.0 seconds, Has anyone any really good ideas please? (NOT electric)
Looking for pyrotechnic delays for fractional seconds, any clues?

Keep mannequins and watermelons away from fireworks..they always get hurt..

I'd ram my own Spollettes with a fast powder. You could make several with a 100g batch under a straight BP acquire and keep.
Failing that, fast visco is pretty consistent :

Look for Pyro clock it works great and yes it is available in the UK.
