Really good, it's allways nice to hear Rev Ron talk. He brought along some dummy bits and pieces, in particular a garden fountain from 1940's with a picture of a 'Tommy' kicking Hitler in the ass, called Heil Hitler

Great slideshow of Kimbolton factory in action and various event slides

Having heard Ron's talks before I really enjoyed last night because this is the first time I have heard him talking from his childhood days all the way up to present time. most other talks have often been based on the Kimbolton days. Listening to the early years was very interesting. Great speaker and a great sense of humour.
I really enjoyed the evening and I am pretty sure everyone else did to.

I loved it, it was really really good. I enjoyed the history and hearing what he used to get up to. Also the slide show was very good, had some good pictures of the complex. It was an honour to have a very quick word with him after. Was also good to meet up with you Mark.

KarlFoxman..

All went well.. no rain Saturday and we had just finished rigging bar a couple of cakes on sunday when we had a bit of rain, but even then it didnt last long and was dry for the show.
Hopefully an unbiased opinion, but this years shows are awsome and great soundtrack. Last years show was not to my personal taste but was still good... but this years show definately rocks my world. Well, 2 down 4 more to go and anyone who can make any of the shows I promise you wont be diasapointed.

No, we get worse, we get weather that lowers you into a false sense of security. So when you think it's nice and sunny and is going to be a hot day. BAM the rain starts.

Where are you located fishy1? I also like snow, but enough is enough sometimes :) I especially dislike the low low humidity that is going to impede my ball milling. Next year I hope to have better storage arrangements so I can make up enough BP to last the winter.
