So what exactly do the laws say for keeping chemicals, just not using them. Like I have a room full, with 3 defined shelves: Oxidisers, fuels, binders. What would make that a satisfactory place for storing chems?

Like adam said, use some napthalene to make an interesting fireball. Use grat caution, but make a blackpowder device (with say 30% napthalene mixed in). This will give out black smoke and a nice fireball.

this mask says use within 28 days. Does anyone know in reality, would it be ineffective after that?? i recon for dusts it would be ok for a lot longer?
It will protect from dust after 28 days, but what happens is the activated carbon element or whatever they use now gets old, so you can't use it for lead compounds or bad fumes.
