The primary selection of Liuyang New Fireworks Products Show raised the curtain at 19:30 on April 28.

This time, there were more than 106 new fireworks products participated in the competition and accepted the strict evaluation of experts. The whole display show had lasted more than one and half an hour.

On April 9, Liuyang Municipal Government held the news release conference in Changsha (The capital of Hunan province), and announced the 9th China (Liuyang) International Fireworks Festival and China Fireworks & Firecrackers Industry Expo would be held at the bank of Liuyang River from May 22 to 24, 2009.
