Ok its been a while since I made anything. Want to make a nice rocket. Would a D sized rocket engine be ok to lift a nice 2" cylinder shell? Its going to be a beraq or a lampare, havnt decided yet.

Were should I start? Had in mind a 750 watt 36 volt motor from ebay and maybe use 3 car batteries, perhaps 2 motors? Vehicle must be either 3 or wheeled and will be recharged with a car battery charger and a 12v trickle solar charger. Any links tips and ideas would be great:)

OK I am using clear plastic sandwich bags taped to y shells for lift and bottom fusing. my question is if I need additional lift if I can just tape another small bag with some more bp under the bag already attached to the shell and have them both go off without any trouble. My bottom fuse melts through the bag to light the bp as suggested by one of the members on here.

So whos going? Im thinking of traveling to the event. Waiting for a response from the registration people because Im 17. im meeting up with a friend of mine which is older so I will probably end up paying for him to register to get in and have him buy some goodies. Dont mind not being able to build just yet, really want to watch and see everyones techniques and such. Anyone wanna meet up if I do end up going?
