hey im not sure if which forum this shuld go in and if this is the wrong 1 im sorry . but neway im thinkin of doin a charge for a special fx mortar hit or similar and i was thinkin of usin a 35mm camera case 3/4 full of flash. and knowin that flash is sensitive to static electricity i was wonderin if the camera film case may generate static ?? if i use this idea is there a possibility of a danger of an unwanted explosion from a possible build up of a static charge? any help or suggetsions wuld be greatly apprieciated

in the intrest of a ground charge or a mine effect or sumthin in that category, since anfo is pretty availible wat kinda detonator or how many grams of explosive e.g. hmtd, mercury fulminate wuld u need to detonate a charge of say 200g of anfo? (just a simple number to measure it on though to make a decent effect id prob use more)and also wat kinda tube tube thickness wuld u want to attempt to control the blast upwards to create a nice big expolsion of earth? (and to attempt a resonably safe effect).though i prob may not use anfo i was just wonderin coz other high explosives are hard to keep for long and sum (infact most) dodgy to make

has ne1 tried sodium chlorate and sugar and a string (kinda slow burnin reliable fuse..kinda... ) ? pretty gd fuse though coz sodium chlorate hyrdospcopic (is that the word i dunno, u know the stuff whcih absorbs water out the air) it gets kinda wet. if i put nitro cellulose laquer over it wuld it work and wuld this affect the burn rate?

hey does ne1 know where to get nichrome wire coz i cant find it ne where. ive tried maplins and local hobby stores but i cant find it. ne websites or otherwise would be appriecated (i cant spell )
