I have a couple questions about this. What type of jar should I use? Also the only power supply that I have right now is 12V at 3 Amp, should I use this or does it need lower volt's or higher amp's?
Thanks

Procedure For Making Potassium Nitrate From Ammonium Nitrate
13 August 2007 - 04:13 AM
As the title says is it possible to make potassium nitrate from ammonium nitrate? I was thinking of potassium chloride with ammonium nitrate ( when I say with I dont me just mixed together ). Now if this was to work with the potassium chloride which is a salt substitute and also has the following ingredients: potassium chloride, potassium bitartrate, adipic acid, silicon dioxide, mineral oil and fumaric acid. Would any of those ingredients effect the results? Also if potassium choride does not work could I use sodium chloride because I dont mind having sodium nitrate. There are a few comps I want to try that use sodium nitrate.

New Wheel
01 August 2007 - 08:44 PM
I'am not sure this is new but it has been in my head for a long time. I was thinking of two wheel drivers on a long stick and two wheels on the middle of the long stick. So the two drivers spin it like a normal wheel and the two middle ones spin in the middle. Has anyone tried this. Also do any of you think this will work. Also from bonny post I will have details on how to make it, if I get around to it.
