Hi all
This is my first post in here so be gentle.
I'd say approach your local Pro company to see if you can fire with them. You'll probably have to do your first few displays for free as an observer/assistant, but after that if you enjoy the buzz/banter/hard work and the company thinks you'll be good for them, then they will offer you regular paid work and training for free where necessary. That is how I started and haven't looked back since
