I fire for two - one has priority over the other and they both are aware of that. I don't discuss each others business between the two or where I have necessarily fired though as they both complete my BPA Blue book they both know, but then again they both know of each other - have minimal cross terratories etc. Equally one has more shows local to me that the other so that helps set where and whom I fire for.
I fire my own school show on the 5th booked through one of these two companies, crewed by my own team, so as to avoid the "where will you be on the 5th",

They all sound good but I was really looking for someone around Croydon / Beckenham but if I have to travel to Loughton or Chelmsford then so be it.
Will try Lidl at the weekend as it is the only time I can get there.
Thanks a lot.
And I am called Andy The Bomb because I make pryo-explosions for re-enactment displays.
I'm in beckenham and there really is nothing of quality in the area. There is a small all year round shop in Elmerss end opposite tesco's but it's very random stuff and a very small selection. Mark at Firework Crazy will deliver this way, I took in an order from him this week - great chap and comany (the Epic of the South). Use his website, it pretty much has everything you need on it. Never used Raj at Newsbox. There is Lidl in Beckenham High Street - seen several people recommend them but never used or even looked at their products.
There may ve stuff in Croydon or out towards Morden and Mitcham but never heard anyone recommend anything that way.

but also to the expectation that back garden displays can be like a £10,000 display in your local park - they can't, they are a different beast.
I have to say tha the £10,000 is a bit of a myth - well I think it is here in London SE. All the "big" displays are much smaller than they used to be. This is down to reduce budgets from organisers and firework companies wanting more profit - and I know they make very little. I went to one last year and whilst I met with the display team - I am not going to state who they were, compared with 10 or even 20 years ago the display was mediocre to say the least. They used big cake, multibore, multi type cakes, but one at a time with the odd shell over the top.
So my point - we should be trying to bring back the garden displays. The big "Safe" displays are just now another part of rip off Britain where we are suckered in at great expense for very little! Remember the council displays are your money but you pay again to watch!
