There was a chemistry professor at my school (many years ago now!) that looked a lot like this one. He managed to put 4 kids in hospital by dropping a lump of white phosphorus that he was talking about, which then filled the class with P₂O₅ fumes. He never gave practical demonstrations after that, strange. Lol

I store my strontium nitrate in coffee jars, I figured this is OK because of how hygroscopic coffee is...
