People are also much more likely to look at a webpage now we're in the age of the smartphone, hence giving out the leaflet will allow people to effectively immediately explore the website and learn more. Which is always a bonus!

I second the idea of a dedicated email, maybe even for general enquiries, which remains permanent while the committee swaps around. Also definitely swap the physical postal address for a web address plus or minus a phone number.

Well before I do reapply I intend to undertake some form of competency course (if such a thing will eventually exist?)
I would of course not do anything which would incriminate me so to speak. Not only would the ELO have things to say but I'm sure the GMC would want a word too.

Told to withdraw my Acquire and Keep application (as it would be refused).
Type: Acquire and Keep for Black Powder, Flash Powder and Pyrotechnic Compositions.
Geographical location: London.
Storage facilities available: Black Powder storage box, as per regulations, locked away inside my home.
Experience of licencee: Five years of hobby pyrotechnics producing a number of articles including flares, fountains, wheels, rockets and shells up to 3 inches diameter. However with no professional pyrotechnics experience. I have studied a lot of chemistry and have a neuroscience degree.

I know this may come across as trying to make already excessive legislation even more complex but i'm fairly certain that if something does happen we could well end up with nothing.....
I totally agree with you on this. We have to be careful to not lose what precious little we have!
