Hi,
As Cooperman said, Pyrodex needs high pressure to burn rapidly enough to work as a propellant.
It's not suitable for lifting shells, unless you really wedged them in, with no blow-by
Regards.

What an incredible achievement.
Massive kudos to you all.
If I hadn't just read this thread there's no way I would have believed it.

I was in Saalbach in Austria skiing for New Year, so couldn't do my normal display.
This is the 4th time in Austria for New Year and I love it. They either don't have the same Firework laws or they simply ignore them
Kids setting off cakes in the streets, bottle rockets flying around, hotel staff throwing bangers. Now, I'm not condoning any of this, but it shows what a nanny state we live in
Regards.

Many thanks for posting about the new venue.
I normally go to Belvoir, but the date clashes with the Henley rewind festival - don't ask - I'm forced to go.
Just booked up and looking forward to seeing a local company from washington - not that far from me.
Thanks again, otherwise I would have missed it this year.
Regards, Chris.
