Does anyone have any experience in what the police would accept as appropriate storage under the keep section of the explosive certificate. I am aware of the design of a shooters powder box which has been made out of 18mm ply with internal compartments for 500gram bottles but I am clearly not wanting to store 10kg of black powder for experimentation so hoping to design something smaller.

Has anyone managed to get a different type of storage box approved?

100g rule

Hi all,

I expect this question has been asked but a quick search seemed to show no results.

Does the 100g rule apply for the whole device when one device is made from multiple devices?

For example, say you want to make a Catherine wheel with 4 gerbs, can each be 100g as technically they are each their own device or does all 4 gerbs have to add up to 100g (so 25g each)?

What does the society need to keep going?

Hi all,

I rarely post and have never been an official member of the UKPS, however, seeing the recent decline I would like to support the society in anyway I can.

However, I can not find anywhere the committee has actually listed what help they need and what the future plans are for the society. I would hate to think all the information in these forums just gets deleted and nobody talks about the UKPS eve again......

So what do you need and how can people help?
