Well I went and had a look at it. The box is very large, about 100cm x 40cm x 13cm pretty heavy and the fireworks look a good size when compared to most consumer selection boxes. Won't know until the night how good they are, but it certainly looks hopeful.

Yes, if the box is so readily flogged for 1/4 the RRP, then the original price must have been inflated to make the deal look even better.

I am only putting on a small back garden display, so am hoping that the selection will have a few more impressive ones, even if half are really cheap rubbish, the rest might make a better display.

What I am wondering is if the smaller boxes with fewer which are selling for about the same price would then be a higher quality firework, or simply a scaled down version of the bigger box but but then sold at RRP so being far worse value.

If I were spending hundreds on a display then I would buy individual ones, but for a simple back garden display I don't want to spend much, nor do I have the space for really good fireworks. I just don't want it to be a flop.
