I'm possibly a little biased but these guys put on a really good display. Worth asking a few companies and see who offers the best value for what you are looking for.

I will definetly try the Estes comp but will save it until I get some practice.dr thrust rest assured safety is always a top priority, best quoute I heard on these forums "Prepare for the worse, hope fro the best"I had considered pressing the comp. How would this be done. My thinking is either you could either press several times as if ramming, or slowly fill the tube gently tapping it to get rid of any air voids. Then press the entire charge once.

I plan to start with a 75:15:10 mix jusy screened and take it from there, I have also found a few interesting effects to add when I get a consistant motor. Im sure I have seen the Estes formula but that was some years ago, would be great if you could send me it. Will save me hours of looking.

I have to say I am totally sold on "Rocket Sketcher", one of the best tools I have come across in a long time. I have ordered the required materials and will hopefully have time over the christmas period to get started. Will post some picks when done. I plan to experiment a bit but what is the prefered method of producing the PB, should I bother with my ball mill or just screen it.

Brass or aluminium for the spindle. I'm thinking brass will be stronger and longer lasting. Ally is pretty cheap and easy to work so could make a few quick rammers, and so the project grows.
