Thanks for the replies, appreciate it.

I'm still in the planning of the trip, because I will be heading to a few countries in the EU I will be moving around a fair bit, but will be trying to see as much pyro related things as I can.

I mixed a bit of this up and tried it gently pressed into a lance tube. The colour was good for a KClO4 blue, though not as good as an AP oxidised mix as you might expect. Previous experience make me suspect it would work a bit better as a smallish star.

Made about 40g of Seymour's blue formula for this halloween, hand rolled them into 1/4" pellets for bombettes and primed them with BP/al. Will get back to you all. Possibly with video if the weather permits this year...



Did you get a chance to fire these?

Not a problem. I believe It's ease of writing, and remember, the symbol for Potassium is K :D


The main reason I was confused was because KP also refers to a formula by Takeo Shimizu http://www.pyroguide...ex.php?title=KP
