Collection only for regulated substances from 2nd Sep?

I wonder what impact the new changes in law will have on hobbyists as you will not be able to recieve via a courier anymore and will need to collect in person?

There are not many of us suppliers in the UK so I'm sure it will mean an awful lot of travelling to collect supplies, on top of that I doubt all suppliers will alow customers to collect for security reasons, I certainly won't.

Has there been any clarifacation on business to business transactions, can these be sent via a courier?

Potassium Nitrate 99.8%

Hey guys, just after your opinions really.
I have just bought in a load of 99.8% nitrate to sell at the oliverbrown shop, this seemed a really good idea until I tested the product.
Is there any actual gain from really pure nitrate? all I seem to be doing is cato'ing everything, even 60/30/10 screen mix 3/4" rockets pop on ignition. I did manage to get a 10mm to fly quite well but it seems a bit firery for normal use.
I'd make a guess that 50/40/10 would work but as nitrate and charcoal are about the same price have I actualy gained anything by offering this product?

I have been toying with the idea of selling fireworks for a whille so I gave Trading standards a call and they sent a chap out to see me, very pleasant chap and was quite positive and helpful. To cut a long story short I live on a farm and there was little standing in my way so I have applied for a licence and it has been granted, I will be told my storage limits on Tuesday once they have been calculated

So, can anyone recommend a wholesaler, preferably not too far from Northampton / MK? I contacted Essex Pyro (not in Essex....) and they sound very knowledgable and have a great range but can't provide dummys. Any suggestions?

I've been offered a set of lab grade scales at a pretty good price (Mettler) but as far as I can tell these wont be trading standards compliant and I need them to be, although I'm sure this would run rings around my current set that are compliant!
The way I understand it without the little green 'M' sticker they dont comply, is it that simple or could these lab scales be used for trade use?

UK Courier

I'm trying to find a UK courier to deliver chems and fuse, I've been in contact with city link who have been very helpful but their license doesn't cover them to carry fuse and magnalium.
wirelessfireworks.co.uk advertise they use a courier, does anyone know which one it is or can anyone point me in the right direction of the correct type of courier?
