Ok, it's not exactly a personal pyro-webpage, but here's the link: http://www.cpcd.tk.
It's a database built by members of a Dutch chemistry/pyrotechnics board, ChemiXtry. We're planning on making a large database full of tested compositions, including helpful information and pictures. At the moment only a few compositions are listed, but we'll increase them as the time goes.
If any of you is willing to help us, please let me know. We're looking for good compositions, including good information and pictures. If you have comments or if you want to help, please PM.

I've had some contact with American pyrosuppliers and the assured me that not a single supplier will be able to legally transport oxidisers and fine metalpowders across the Atlantic. This requires a very expensive permit not even large suppliers like Skylighter and Firefox can afford.
Also note that sending stuff inside the European Union is a piece of cake, but sending stuff in or out is is more difficult.
I don't know how high their shipping costs are, but you could try to send a 'testpackage' just to see how things go.

I've seen this video before on some other website, which also had pictures of the mortars used to fire these gigantic shells.
I wonder how a 48" flash-report-shell would sound...

Also, a lot of packages of 'normal' things can be used, I've used 500ml and 1 liter plastic containers which used to contain hairgel.

Well done, never thought of using my tubes in such a way.
Why don't you send that picture to PyroTube itself? Maybe they will be very pleased with your creation and will they offer a lifetime supply of tubes and hemi's.
