I've just recieved my new tooling from Greg (see under the pyro tools -> rocket tooling thread) and really want to get onto making some rockets.
What formulae do people use when making BP rockets? I've got some good BP meal ready made and was thinking about slowing the mix down a bit with charcoal or a bit of atomised aluminium powder, at the moment I'd imagine it would just CATO.

I was interested in trying the veline colour system to make some stars. I have everything for the blue and red stars apart from the parlon and magnalium. Does anybody know anywhere in england that I can buy them from?
Has anybody here tried these stars before? Have they been any good?

I was just curious whether anybody knows any more about the story. It sounds like it was more HE related than pyro but its still put me on edge a bit. Was the person from this forum?
