Many thanks to everyone who made it on the day and all those who contributed.
I was much encouraged by our new chairman Steve's introduction. Getting real chemistry back into schools (and indeed our back garden workshops) is a cause we can all rally around. I'm sure we can introduce several prominent new members on this basis alone.
Speaking of which... please can I issue a gentle reminder that we do need all recently lapsed and current members to renew. We'll have to have a show of numbers if our work with the ELR and the UKPS as a whole is to have a credible voice going forward. I'll be sending a thank you note to our AGM guests and hope that they might consider joining us as well.
PS: Admin wise, if anyone found a Kenwood radio on the field and put it somewhere safe please could you PM myself or Phill C (Cooperman435).

Hello all,
I may be a bit late joining in the discussion here, but I've just recently heard about your AGM and I'd love to come down.
Hi Andrew will be good to see you. If you (or any other interested pyro vendors on here) would like a table in the hall or one of the side rooms to exhibit / demo some of your wares then please drop me PM.

Could all those wishing to join us for dinner in Woodstock at the Star Inn (ordinary pub food) please let me know. I've booked for 21 people but will have to make additional arrangements if more.
Thanks, Joseph.
Thanks, Joseph.

We've booked a meal at The Star Inn in Woodstock and they have some rooms. I've not stayed there myself. There are others in central Woodstock itself of varying price and quality so it might be worth phoning around. Searching for 'Hotels In Woodstock' in Google Maps gives a starting point.
Travellodge Oxford PearTree and Holiday Inn Oxford Peartree are easily accessible and 10 minutes drive away along the A44 which is usually a fast road.

Just a quick note - the committee agreed this evening that we'll be providing free pizza / take-away for the designated volunteers supervising the site during the evening meal.
I've reserved space at The Star Inn in Woodstock for the dinner at 7:30 (ordinary pub fayre) and we'll no doubt return to the town centre after the display and clear-up for further networking and refreshments.
