I am newish to pyrotecnics and have made the occasional roman candle type thing. I wanted more of a fire cracker and bought sodium chlorate that i have been advised no to use, so the next step is making BP. I was wondering what ratio works best and if there is anything i should watch out for eg, poisonous chemicals etc or if you can recomend any thing els that works well.
