Phostrogen

09 February 2008 - 07:33 PM

I was browsing Wilinsons, and found a fertilizer called Phostrogen. I looked it up and found it contains 60% pottasium nitrate. Now, ive heard of recrystalistion, and i was wondering if that would work with this. it also contain; 5% urea, 20% monoammonium phosphate, 1% Ethyline Dyamine Tetra Acetic acid. While im here i might aswell mention, fertilisers with the ingrediant NPK, are they pottasium nitrate rich. id be thankful for any help you could give me.

homemade fuse

21 February 2007 - 10:31 AM

please dont delete this one. ive searched the forums and cant find anything. for various reasons i cannot purchase fuses off the web, nor potassium nitrate. So is it possible to create fuse from sodium chlorate or potassium chlorate. Ive tried soking string in saturated solutions of sodium chlorate and sugar. It works but the small crystals wich form on it sometimes rub off or break.
