The day is here, hope everything is going well so far or will be later for everyone! Will post later on and hopefully everyone can tell us what they have planned.
Good luck!

Blue Pioneer Rockets
03 November 2010 - 10:52 AM
Anybody had these before? I was passing a Bulldog shop in Preston yesterday and decided to have a quick look, to my suprise they had 2 rocket packs on sale which weren't Bulldog. One was the Blue Pioneer and another was a Red Astra Fireworks pack.
I was sure these Blue Pioneer's are regarded similarly to the Black Gemini and Black Mamba rockets? They are made by Cosmic and I remember them being on sale in Morrisons a couple of years ago.
Anyway I wasn't sure if these were old regs or not or if they are even still made. The guy let me have a look at a lot of the stock but I couldn't see dates so decided to buy a couple of packs and we test fired a few last night at my Grandma's house.
Thankfully they must have been old ones as the 3 rockets we fired all had a nice big boom and big effects. The first was a big silver crackling break with Red pistils, the Second and Third were smalled hanging breaks but still the same boom.
Overall pleased because I thought they would be crap. 7 left now.

Black Gemini Rockets

Anyone had these before?
They get mentioned quite a lot, sold in quite a few shops but I've never had them. Supposed to be pretty loud so wondering if they are worth buying as I already have quite a few rockets but I'm interested in these.

New Bright Star Fireworks Website

Just noticed they have a new site, I know a lot of the old range used flash based fireworks, so what will the stuff be like now. They have a section on the site with 'Pyro Meshed Rockets' which appear to show some of the bigger rockets from the old range in the mesh with hinged sticks so will they be the same?

Firework & Fancy Dress Shop
27 September 2010 - 04:37 PM
I visited an all year round shop the other day in Chorley called the Firework and Fancy Dress Shop, it's a party shop and also an all year round fireworks shop selling mainly Bright Star stuff. They have 2 stores, the main one being in Prescot near Liverpool and the other Chorley, quite a large selection of Bright Star stuff on sale and friendly staff.
One of the only all year round shops left in Lancashire now that Firework Factory is gone.
