Hi everyone I’m trying to build up a small collection of standard firework memorabilia from their last 10 years or so of British manufacture; I’ve already got a few (empty) boxes and a brochure from this period but quality stuff on eBay is rare. I also wish to "reverse engineer" some older fireworks to find out commercial manufacturing tricks or techniques which old companies may have used. For this I will require some "lives", I hope to put my findings up on the forum along with some pictures. If anyone can help me out I’ll be at the kimbolton factory visit. Brochures, dummies or live items, I’ll consider anything so just PM me.
Thanks all Doug

Old British Bangers
02 March 2008 - 07:44 PM
I'm a big fan of old style British fireworks (pre 1990's) and always wanted to know how they used to make bangers (the ones with a touchpaper fuse). Since fireworks like theses were before my time I never managed to experience these first hand. Any information would be much appreciated.
Ground Spinner
10 January 2008 - 09:01 PM
Hi all, just wondering if anyone out there knows how to make a ground spinner. I've never seen them for sale in the UK (properly banned like everything else) so I would like to have a go at making my own. Any information on what kind of tubes to use, compositions or methods of construction would be much appreciated.
Thanks Doug

Belgium Fireworks/firecrackers
09 December 2007 - 09:18 PM
I was just wondering if anyone here has had any experience with Belgium match crackers or any type firework from that region. In a few months time I will be going there and I want to know what to look out for and what to avoid. If any one could give me prices on how much certain one's are that would be great.
Thanks in advance Doug.
