In Topic: What diameter and how many?

As a rock tumbler it will be most satisfactory using it's rated weight of lead then add 100 - 200g to mill. A drum half full of lead media risks being way over 3lbs

Note that the mill in the link is for 120v if you are getting Cooperman's media you are likely in a 230/240v

Thank you very much for letting me know about the 120v/230v problem. I did know about it, but I am certainly very happy that you said it :). Luckily, I have a transformator that should be able to transform the power :).

I will try with 100g of 17mm lead balls and see how that works out. Thanks everyone  :)

In Topic: Black Powder Burning Slow?

Hi - yeah, I will try and look a bit more. But may it be because of the damp KNO3? And I am thinking about getting a ball mill, but it is a bit hard to find one outside of the USA. (Well not if paying 100$+ is "No problem"... but in the USA I saw one for 25$.. same model.)

OK. Good thing I asked already. I have only made something with the fine particle-stuff three times, so no harm done ;)

But would the garage still be bad? It is rainy outside almost every day at this time of the year, so my things could get wet... and the wind would probably hurl a lot of stuff into the air? :P

But I am right that no harm is done by these few times right? It was just 3, 6 and 10 grams of flash powder. Dont worry, I am not going to go over 10 gram at a time (about the sensitivity - not really related to this..)

In Topic: Organic Filter Ok?

Ok - Well, the filters for mine is pretty expensive (2 filters for about 15€) so I dont feel like cutting them up to see if theres a particle filter - and I have thrown away the packaging... :P

But I think it does, as it has like.. same texture as the cheap ones (of what you can see) and then I am guessing activated charcoal suspended between those two pads.

This is the mask I have:

In Topic: Buying chemicals.

Okay the whole illness thing just became alot more realistic in my opinion.

I was just sent this e-mail:

Witam

Proszę uprzejmie o cierpliwoc, z powodu powikan po chorobie pan Lukasz Mikus wkrótce sie skontaktuje z Pastwem w sprawie przesyke/zamówie

z powaaniem
Agnieszka Stolarz

Which, from a brief encounter with an online translator I believe means;

Please be patient with Lukasz Mikus because of his recent illness.

If any Polish speakers are able to provide something better then it would be very much appreciated so I'm not stuck in the proverbial ether any more!

The whole illness thing might be because he feels bad about telling people that their chemicals might be delayed... :P

(Maybe he does not stock them all, and might be selling some of them directly from a factory, causing a delay?)
